Temple Reach PBSA

Swanmac is pleased to be supporting Temple Reach in Bristol, a landmark purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA) scheme set to rise 22 storeys in the heart of the city's Temple Quarter.

The £150m project will transform a former waste-management facility on a brownfield site in St Philip's Marsh into more than 530 high-quality student rooms, alongside 4,300 sq ft of affordable workspace. Over half of the site will become new public realm, including a riverside amphitheatre and walkway which will link the neighbouring university campus to the River Avon. This opens up a stretch of the city's waterfront for students and the wider community alike.

Bristol is one the UK’s most popular university cities, and the Temple Reach developments represents a significant investment in high-quality student housing.

Swanmac will be installing 800 roller blinds throughout the scheme, along with curtains in the amenity spaces. Works are programmed for summer 2027. Our installation will:

  • Provide effective light control across student rooms and shared spaces
  • Enhance privacy for residents throughout the building
  • Contribute to comfort and usability throughout the day
  • Complement the interior design of the amenity spaces
  • Deliver a consistent, high-quality finish across all 22 storeys

As with all projects, the focus of #TeamSwanmac is to deliver a shading solution that meets the demands of the building supporting performance and the long-term use of the space.
