Internal rooflight shading systems provide effective control of natural light, glare, and heat within commercial buildings.

Product Description

Rooflight blinds are designed specifically for roof windows and skylights They are usually manufactured as roller blinds with integrated tension systems, ensuring the fabric remains secure and properly aligned even when installed horizontally or at an angle.  Whilst roller rooflight blinds are the most common, there are other designs such as pleated rooflight blinds.

For enhanced performance, rooflight blinds can be fitted with an aluminium headbox to neatly conceal the mechanism, along with zipped side channels to minimise light ingress—making them an ideal blackout solution for bedrooms, hotels, and presentation spaces.

A range of operating options is available to suit different installations. Smaller, lower-level rooflights can be operated manually using a crank handle, while electric operation is the standard choice for ease of use. Advanced motor options allow integration with building management systems (BMS), enabling automated control and improved energy efficiency.
